This session introduces Data Availability Statements and Data Papers, two key tools to make datasets easier to find, access, cite, and reuse. Data Availability Statements are short sections within research articles that indicate where the underlying data can be accessed (and any access conditions). Data Papers are standalone publications that provide structured descriptions and documentation of datasets made available online.
