Practical Tools for Sharing and Preservation

Humanities researchers working with interviews, manuscripts, images, annotations, audiovisual materials, or other data are invited to an in-person workshop on data sharing and preservation. The workshop will explore practical ways to make research more visible, citable, and preserved for future use.

The workshop includes:

  • An introduction to two Swiss platforms for Humanities research data: the DaSCH Service Platform and SWISSUbase
  • A step-by-step guide to depositing data
  • A discussion of common challenges related to data sharing, formats, rights, sensitivity, and long-term preservation

This interactive workshop is suitable for those new to the topic as well as those already familiar with it, offering a supportive space to learn and explore options for research projects.
